I just realized I never did get around to posting a photo of the skirt I got. Just the pictures of the package all beat up to crap.

My Baby, the Stars Shine Bright skirt. It is a Alice themed skirt in light pink and off white. I love it. Normally, I don't do pink but it works for me. It's not bright or screaming. It just the right shade. It has Alice, the White Rabbit, and the Card guys on it. I tried it on and since it has a built in petti, I did a little "Princess" spin.

I'm nuts!

Book number 3 which I started a while back and never got to posting about it. I never finished it either. It started off pretty good but towards the middle of it, I got bored. It starts with a woman who doesn't want kids at all. The same stuff happens, she gets asked about it and then questioned about her choice. She gets mad. She married a guy who also didn't want kids but somewhere during their marriage he changed his mind and wants kids.

They divorce.

It had my interest because I too, don't want kids. Do I want the marriage? No but that's a whole other story. I guess it got annoying because she spent time crying about no one wanting her and then there was this whole thing with her ex and this girl he was hanging out with.

I'm trying to do this by memory but I'm probally killing it so I'm ending it here.

I haven't picked up anything since I stopped reading. I was waiting for Jaime to finish "A Dirty Job." He did but I just never grabbed it. Right now I'm reading "Kamikaze Girls."

My brother got Rock Band for the 360.

He let me play.

I want the game for the Wii now. If Jaime won't sing then I'll get him to play the drums.

So last week I bought my first ever Baby the Stars Shine Bright skirt from a seller on egl_comm_sales on livejournal. She mailed it out the same day I made payment.

I was so happy!! It was a Alice in Sweetland print. It was in Burgundy. It worked. it wasn't bright pink and it wasn't my normal black.

Fast forward to today!

I get a call from Missa saying she saw mail for me sitting by the mail box. This was around 245pm. I wasn't off till 4 and promised to met Debra to give her the stuff my mother brought back from Disneyland Paris. I'm figuring okay, it shouldn't be bad. It will be okay. I found it funny too because the mailman always leave me and Jaime pink slips. He never has left a box sitting out there.

I get to Jaime's building and it's not there. I go upstairs thinking maybe, Jeremy came home, saw it, and took it.

Nothing.

I text Missa saying the package is gone. She calls me to tell me it was a box.

I'm pissed.

I run down 2 blocks to the post office where people go to get their packages if they get a pink slip. The two fucktards working there couldn't help me for jack shit. She just said call back tomorrow for the Supervisor. She then asked if I got a pink slip. I told her no because it was seen by someone one the fucking steps. If I got a pink slip I wouldn't be here complaining. She said the mail man should of left a slip and brought back the box.

No shit! You think?

So I start writing notes and leaving them on the front door and by the mail boxes saying I want the box back. No questions asked. Just leave my skirt at the Apt. door. I was mad I wanted to go knocking on everyone's door asking who took my box.

Instead I left notes on people's door to leave my skirt by the door.

Deep down, I know I'm not going to see the skirt ever. And you know what kills me?

Missa saw the damn package and 2 hours later someone took it. Missa saw my box and I'll never see the skirt.

All I'm left with is a credit card bill of $100 for that skirt.

To whoever took my box, I hope you are enjoying the skirt and you better take good care of it.

BUT

If I ever see you and you are walking around with that burgundy skirt with Alice sweet theme on it (and you can't say you bought it from around here because it's from a JAPANESE CLOTHING COMPANY), I'm gonna have your fucking head on a god damn fucking silver platter and I'm going to have it for lunch you piece of fucking shit!!

This rent control issue is really scaring me. I was fine till my lovely co worker started talking about it and showed me one of the articles in the newspaper.

Pretty much if Prop. 98 passes, rent control will be removed and people are saying the landlords can pretty much either kick you out or raise your rent. As we all know, living in San Francisco is not affordable. If the rent in my place goes up I might not be able to afford it. I mean, if it hits 1,000 then maybe but my room mate aka my brother won't be able to. He can barely pay what we pay now and it's peanuts. PEANUTS what we are paying. My mother rented this apt. in 70's and she never moved. We live there now.

I don't want to move out and find another place. I don't want to move in with a bunch of people I don't know in another part of SF. I don't want to shove in 5 people into a tiny 2 room place just to keep living downtown.

They say that if rent control is gone, more buildings will be build and rent will be lowered. Haven't they figured out it doesn't work that way? The article also said that Boston did away with their's and rent doubled. You know it will happen in San Francisco.

She's still babbling on about it. I really want her to shut up about it. I told my mother and she said they always put something like that on the ballot and it never passes. She told me not to worry and it will be fine.

Rar... I hope so.

You know you need to add more color to your wardrobe when you're boyfriends daughter picks up a pair of bright pink pj pants, goes to her dad, laughs, says "Gladys has pink pjs" and laughs some more.

Oh yea, she found it amusing that I own BRIGHT PINK pants. For someone who only saw me pretty much every day before her mother took her away a year ago and I only now see for a week every 5, she knows who I truly am. I will be grateful for that, however long it lasts.

In other news, I might be hitting Fanime. ^_^  It has been a long time since I've been to a Anime Con. I was talking to Missa and we shall be aiming for the weekend. I'm hoping my day off request went through. Jaime has never been to a Anime Con so I'm hoping he can go as well. We shall be traveling on Greyhound or Cal Trains. We need to figure out which one gets us closer to the San Jose Convention center. I'm kind excited. I want to see people I haven't talked to in ages.

I kinda closed myself off to people. So many incidents happen with people who I thought were my friends and I shut myself away. I closed myself up like an oyster. Some were big, some were small, and some did hurt but after all was said and done, it was stupid. I guess, if we are still meant to be friends, we can pick up where things left off....? Time will tell.

I still need to post some of the Disneyland photos but gah, the thought of re sizing them makes me lazy. I'll post some I promise.... some day.

I still haven't opened my Mario Kart game. I need to fix that.

So, I have been lurking and checking out the "Lolita" fashion. I've always been curious about it but I don't think I can pull the cuteness off. It's bright colors and cute designs. I mean I love them, I just don't wear bright at all.

I could pull off the accessories like shoes, bags, necklaces, headbands/bows but that's pretty much it.

Lately, I've been checking out the Baby, The Stars Shine Bright store and found some cute tops. There's one of Alice walking with the White Rabbit. I need it. Also, they have a Alice and the Pirates theme going and I found a tote bag, They do ship from Japan but EMS shipping is expensive. I wish I knew people in SF that wanted to order stuff so I could split shipping costs.

I am in the works of buying my first Baby, The Stars Shine Bright skirt. It's a Burgundy color so it's not bright and it has Alice in a Wonderland "Sweet/Candy" theme. I couldn't resist. I'm using some of my rebate money for it. The clothes can be expensive.

I was doing some wondering on Yahoo!Japan auctions (bad idea) and bid on some 3D nail designs. I bid on a Marie and was trying for Stitch. I lose that one. I also got a set of purple themed ones and polka dot with crystal that formed Minnie on them. I hope they fit me.
