Disneyland was major fun. I got to met my Belle and Jaime's daughter got to met her Cinderella.

She was up in San Francisco for the week. I took her to Color me Mine in Westlake to make a plate for him for Father's Day. Of course, she told him she painted a plate. There was drama with her mother because she had fun with "my Gladys." I was expecting the yelling to be about her daughter and me at Disneyland but instead it was about a plate and her having fun with me.

What can you do?

I was disappointed with Color me Mine though. It was Tea Thursday. Pretty much you paint a tea pot and get a tea cup for free. There were no tea cups to be found and all the sample/colored tea pots I liked, they didn't have for me to paint. Later, the sale girl tells me since it's not a popular night, they don't ordered much tea stuff and then it turned out the free tea cup was pretty much a sake cup.

I get to pick up the finished plate tomorrow. I'm hoping nothing happens to it because the next time she's up here is June. I read reviews on yelp.com and they were pretty bad. One lady said they broke most all the pieces her and her friends had worked on. =/

I finally picked up my "I hate you" neckalce! I got a 60 dollar gift card and used it towards it. I want to wear it at work but I don't think I can get away with it. They don't like me wearing the Pirate Pistol necklace so I doubt a "I hate you" one would fly at the Concierge desk.

Oh, I also did a lot of thrift shopping. I'll post pictures of my finds. I found a Scooby Doo Clue board game, VHS tapes of Sailor Moon dubbed, some tea cups, and clothes!

I just wanted to do a quick update. I hope everyone is doing well out there. I'll post pictures from Disneyland soon!

Teacup

The fun begins SATURDAY the 19th!!

I have a bone to pick with.... um.... someone!

I keep seeing the commercials for Marshall's, Ross, and others. The clothes, bags, shoes, and stuff they show are cute and I want the stuff.

Of course when I actually go into the stores, I find NOTHING like the outfits that were used. The recent Marshall's one has this chick walking around in a really cute pink top. I like the top but of course, not found in my local store.

Meh.

In other news:

My birthday was on Sunday. My friends and I went to Disneyland to celebrate. Missa's birthday was on Saturday as well.

I got to walk around all day with a Birthday badge! Cast Members said "Happy Birthday" to me. I had a birthday lunch at Goofy's Kitchen and Peter Pan sang "Happy Birthday" to me.

Minus some small set backs, the weekend was awesome! I had a blast!

I worked on a few more layouts for my Disney Character album last weekend. I'm trying to get caught by the end of this month so I can start working on the actual album. I'm very behind!!

I worked on a whole bunch but these three are my favorite from the batch.
*I scrap lifted the vellum idea on Belle from a greeting card.
*The Minnie Mouse is a 2 page spread. Mickey has the same look but the pattern sheet is on top instead of on the bottom.
*The Goofy one is just cracktastic awesome. The random person is the guy that was hanging with Goofy. He was nice to pose with us.

Today is the day my favorite ride, when I was a little girl opens back up after being closed for 10 years.

It comes back as Finding Nemo Sub Voyage. A movie which I totally adore.

It's all about Squirt, Ebay, and Mine!

I can't wait to go to Disneyland and get on this ride.

And Splash Mtn is finally open. I gone twice already and it was closed.

How come I never saw this ad? I wonder if it's just runs locally in So Cal. The ending says it all for me.

I'm heading off to Disneyland again on Friday. I finally decided to invest in a annual pass. I pretty much would be paying for two entrances and getting my third entrance for 39 bucks. Yea, not in my budget. Damn!

I'm going, of course, on Friday and then again in late Summer. I'm heading back for my birthday so it works. If I go one more time before May 08 then it's free!

I can't wait for Friday. 3 days at Disneyland. I'm gonna see how many character photos I can get this time. =)

I still NEED a picture with Alice. She's my character but so hard to get a photo with. Every time I see her, she's running off with the Mad Hatter. My second favorite character is Belle. I've gotten a few with her but none with Alice at all.

I want another photo with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. They are made of awesome!!
